On 21 June 2017, the Protocol for the Creation of the Museum of Contemporary Art was signed between the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Regional Government of Castilla y León, the City Council of Arévalo and the Fundación Lumbreras - Colección Adrastus to collaborate in the development and consolidation of Collegium.
Government of Castilla y León, May 2024: The Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Sports, on May 27, 2024, in accordance with the provisions of Articles 15 and 16 of Law 2/2014 of March 28, on Museums of Castilla y León, and pursuant to Articles 21 and 24 of Law 39/2015 of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, grants the official designation “Museo Collegium” (Arévalo, Ávila), with the category of museographic collection.
