Open Call for Director of Development for COLLEGIUM
From April 29th - May 29th, 2021

The promoters of COLLEGIUM open the call to Development Directors of any nationality to become part of the COLLEGIUM’s team.

Developed from the Research, Exhibition and Production tripod, COLLEGIUM is a center for education, research, and experimentation of contemporary art that aims in its construction process to become a field of fruitfulness and critical participation, developed from an articulation between the Adrastus Collection and a Jesuit complex from the 16th century. In its current phase, it seeks to develop action strategies focused on research and study, creating a platform that overlaps different geographies, histories, and temporality. Located in the city of Arévalo, Castilla y León, COLLEGIUM will also become a space for the production and conservation of artistic heritage. Designed as a monument to social change, the institution, and its project are presented as an experiment in contemporary museology, with the aim of contributing to the investigation of modes of production and articulation between art and society.

The main responsibility of COLLEGIUM’s Director of Development will be to design a patronage model that increases, diversifies, and sustains the philanthropic support of individuals, corporations, foundations and public and private institutions. This profile will carry a significant portfolio of top donors and prospects along with the responsibility of growing and managing such operations with top professionalism. This will require a professional who can imagine and establish authentic partnerships, motivate and inspire key actions and initiatives for endowed funds.

The next Director of Development should be a qualified and effective fundraiser who has a proven track record in the procurement of donations. This leader must provide a strategic vision and an integrated development plan with clear goals: to shape, drive and meet the budget and objectives of COLLEGIUM.

- Experience in Public Relations, Institutional, Fundraising, and crowdfunding.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in Spanish and English.
- A multifaceted individual with the ability to work in a team.
- A proactive and motivated individual without fear of a long-term work commitment.
